All Web Promotion Blog ? We Hosted our First Google Engage ...

Two weeks ago, our company had the esteemed privilege of co-hosting an afternoon luncheon event with Google called ?Google Engage Connect.? Our event was tailored for prospective clients in the local Chicago-land area where business owners of all sizes were invited to attend a 90-minute talk on ways they could evolve their own branding and marketing strategies.

Our Engage Connect event was one of many that Google helped to host simultaneously throughout the country. The agenda featured great content from 3 of Google?s top thought-leaders via a live video broadcast followed by an assortment of case studies and an in-depth Q&A session by our team. In fact, our official agenda included:

Keeping Up With the Evolving Digital Landscape

Lisa Gevelber, VP of Americas Marketing, Google
The world is changing. The evolution of technology is giving people the opportunity to do extraordinary things. In her talk, Lisa explained ways small businesses could keep up with the evolving digital world, and how through technology lays an opportunity to do extraordinary things.

Reach Customers When it Matters

John Nicoletti, Director of Agency Development, Google
Whether we?re shopping for corn flakes, concert tickets or a honeymoon in Paris, the Internet has changed how we decide what to buy. John?s talk focused on the idea of reaching the right customers, with the right message, and in the right ways when it matters most.

Working and Winning with an Agency

Bickey Russell, Head of Channel Managed Agencies, Google
Without question many small businesses are hesitant about spending with an agency. In his fireside chat, Bickey communicated the importance of partnering with an online professional and provided insight for how they should approach working with an agency.

Case Study Presentation

Karl Ribas, Vice-President of Marketing, All Web Promotion
Knowing which agencies to align themselves with is one of the most difficult decisions that small businesses make. Karl?s presentation highlighted two specific examples of how our team was able to help our clients to get more out of the web and meet their marketing goals.

Q&A Discussion

All Web Promotion
We wouldn?t have felt right sending our guests on their way without first addressing their marketing related questions and concerns. We understand that each small business faces unique challenges and our team was on hand to provide personal, yet detailed, examples of how our agency could assist them.

Overall, our Google Engage Connect event was a huge success. Not only were our guests introduced to our company and services, but they also learned about the numerous opportunities available to them through Google. Among other things, our event helped to communicate the importance and value of partnering with an online agency such as us, as well as the resources that we?re able to provide. Additionally, we had a great time getting to know more about our surrounding small businesses and are excited for the opportunity to be working with them in the near future.
