Properly wash and dry your feet and trim your nails regularly. This can significantly decrease the pain already. For a lavish treat without spending so much, soak your feet in icy water for about five minutes then in endurable hot water for another five minutes. Add aromatherapy oils if you wish.

To ease the puffy and fatigue of your feet, give them a simple massage. Start with several strokes on your legs then downward to your feet. Glide your fingers from the middle of your sole to the back of your heels and then stroke in a circular way. Start from the middle of your sole again before reaching the base of your toes. Then repeat the procedure on your other leg and foot. This simple massage can increase the flow and alleviate your feet from weariness. If you are lying down, you can as well as lift up your feet to increase the blood circulation.

You can?t give your feet massage all the time, especially when you are at work. However, you can give them a break from your closed footwear or high heels every now and then. When you are behind the desk or having your lunch break, you can take off your footwear and wriggle your feet a little. You can also wear flip flops during that short time just to give them breathing space.

Make your footwear a little comfortable if you spend a lengthy time wearing snug and painful footwear because of your job. Use commercially available shoe cushions that help make high heels a little less uncomfortable or the insoles of your closed shoes feel softer. Sometimes, though, you need to check the size and shape of your footwear if they are still painful even with the cushions. There are shoe cuts that need you to wear a different size than you usually wear.
